It’s Here, the Ant-Man And The Wasp Trailer

A day after the highly praised and positively received premiere of Marvel Studio’s Black Panther, Marvel is hitting everyone with a one-two combo with the first trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp.

It picks up following Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) after being broken out of the super max prison in Captain America:Civil War. Scott, talking to Hope Van Dyne (Evangaline Lilly) is questioming whether would she have been by his side during the epic Avenger battle royale in Berlin.

We find out both Hope and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) are on the run from the authorities. Which leads us to believe they may have either helped break Lang and the other Avengers out with Captain America or they may have just been on the run knowing the authorities are looking for Scott.

Either way that action and incredible special effects revs up and that’s not from just the Ant-Man. The Wasp has some amazing and mind blowing shots. We see the use of the wings and even the blasters on the Wasp suit which prompts Lang to ask Pym, “You gave her wings…i guess you didn’t have the technology for me?” With Pym responding, “I did.”

Overloaded with action and fun this sequel is sure to raise the bar in which it’s predecessor set.

Check out the trailer for yourself and see Ant-Man and The Wasp when it hits theaters July of this year.

The Black Panther Trailer Is Here!

There’s a lot to digest in this one, but we wanted to make sure we got it out to you as soon as we saw it! We get our first full looks at the technologically advanced nation of Wakanda in all its beauty. We also see Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger being brought into trial by W’kabi played by Daniel Kaluuya; Angela Bassett as T’challa’s mother Ramonda, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, and Letitia Wright as Shuri.

Look forward to hearng us take this apart more in depth on episode 65!

This trailer is loaded with action and color and has us excited. How about you?

What if interracial relationships gave you super powers? Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger wants to find out.

Well, that was fast. Only a few weeks after filling in the top line roles for Cloak & Dagger, we already have our first trailer! The show is coming to Freeform and the trailer looks like the show will fit in with the normal fare on that channel (Pretty Little Liars, anyone?) It also features one of my favorites – a story based on an interracial relationships. Truth be told, the only superpower that comes from those is pretty babies (thanks Mom & Dad.)

The cast for this one is pretty strong, so as long as we can get past the idea of starting this story at the YA level, we should be in for some fun. We’ll be discussing this and more, this Sunday at the Trusty Sidekick Live Podcast recording, this Sunday (4/23) at the Laugh Factory in Chicago.
