We are less than a month away from the release of Black Panther in theaters and a little over a week removed from the announcement that Kendrick Lamar and TDE will be producing the soundtrack. First we got the lead single “All the Stars” with Kendrick Lamar and SZA.
Now the second single has been released, “King’s Dead” by TDE artist Jay Rock ft. Kendrick Lamar, Future and James Blake. It’s produced by Mike Will-Made-It and Teddy Walton. It is also the first single from Jay Rock’s upcoming album to be released by Top Dog Entertainment/Interscope Records set to be released later this year.

Today has been loaded with Black Panther news. Even though it really shouldn’t be a shock as we are less than 40 days away from its release in theaters. First tickets became available for presale, and now we have a look at the final trailer for the film.
The trailer aired during the Halftime celebration of the college football National Championship which featured Kendrick Lamar who coincidentally will be producing the soundtrack to the film.
In this final trailer we see, the initial conversation with Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman) and Ulysess Klaue (Andy Serkis), we see most footage we’ve seen from the original trailer. But it really gives us more when see T’Challa having his ritualistic trials surrounded by the citizens of Wakanda. We get a better look at Forest Whitaker as Zuri. We get a somewhat more in depth look at Erik Killmonger’s crocodile scarring on his chest, the Dora Milaje and SO MUCH MORE! ! !

And this song ladies and gentlemen is what is known as a BANGER. The new track “All the Stars” is the lead single from the soundtrack of the upcoming Black Panther film. The soundtrack is set to be produced by Kendrick Lamar with Anthony “Top Dawg” Triffith.
Kendrick said , “Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is amazing, from its cast to its director. The magnitude of this film showcases a great marriage of art and culture. I’m truly honored to contribute my knowledge of producing sound and writing music alongside Ryan and Marvel’s vision.” Lamar recently referenced Black Panther in the video for his DAMN. track “LOVE.”

We’re talking about the new trailer for the CW’s Black Lightning that dropped today and it’s jam packed. Set to the backdrop of Kendrick Lamar’s “backyard freestyle” we get a look at Krondon as Tobias Whale as well as James Remar as Peter Gambi. The series stars Cress Williams as Jefferson Pierce a retired superhero turned high school principal who is brought back into the crimefighting.
