Terry Crews And Rob Delaney’s Deadpool 2 Roles Revealed!

We already knew the sequel to Deadpool was going to be stuffed with a lot more characters. Who everyone was playing was still up in the air, until the recent trailer dropped.

We get a little of everyone in this, and the major questions are answered. Terry Crews was rumored to be a number of different black characters, which I’m not sure is a greater disservice to Crews, the DP2 costumers or the other black characters he was rumored to be. It’s apparent from this trailer that he is going to be playing Bedlam, who made his original appearance in the Age Of Apocalypse story line (one of my favorites,) and then popped up again as an experimented on teenager, saved by a mutant reclamation project started by Charles Xavier called M.U.S.E. (Mutant Underground Support Engine,) in the Marvel Universe.

His powers are pretty wild, as he is always emitting pulse energy, and can detect both brain waves and electrical energy, with the ability to manipulate both someone’s consciousness or their machinery, armor, etc.

At the 1:36 mark in the trailer, Crews picture as Bedlam is the first, followed by Rob Delaney’s with the name Peter. Since Delaney is not playing Colossus, that leaves Pete Wisdom as the likely choice, especially considering the dapper suit he’s wearing. Wisdom was a British secret service agent in the comics, and could throw energy blades from his fingers. It’s a character that could easily be turned into a snarky American that would fit Delaney, all respect due! Wisdom actually had a mini-series with Kitty Pryde at one point, which tempts questions as to what he may link to, considering a solo Pryde film is in the works as well.

People are actually questioning whether Shiori Kutsuna is playing Surge or Psylocke, and I think recasting Psylocke is a little to quick, and since we’ve go Bedlam and Pete Wisdom, along with Bill Skarsgard playing either Zeitgeist or Rictor, which are both out there, Surge seems about right. Deadpool drops in a little under 2 months on May 18th! Does the trailer or any of this information influence your excitement? Let us know what you think!

Deadpool Spinoff, X-Force Set To Begin Filming In Fall

We are getting the Merc with a Mouth’s sequel this May, the 4th installment of the next X-men generation in X-men: Dark Phoenix in December and then the New Mutants which have been pushed back to February of next year. But lets not forget Fox has one more X-men property lined up that many were not sure was going to go into production. That property being X-force and the reason being the potential Fox/Disney merger.

A new report claims that X-Force will start shooting this October. If that does turn out to be true that would mean it would finish filming before the Disney deal can go through. this would potentially give the X-Force a late 2019 release date. It’s not how long it would take to fully integrate the X-men universe into the MCU.

Now of course these are just reports and nothing is set in stone as of now. There is no certainty to the future of Ryan Reynolds in the fourth wall breaking, foul mouthed superhero role and Deadpool 2 would seem like the perfect lead in to X-Force. Also seeing Reynolds in his own giant team up would be a great way to go out if its his final film. Let us know your thoughts? Are you hyped for an X-Force film?

Lots Of Cable In The New Deadpool Trailer!

Today we get a new Deadpool 2 trailer, and this one is heavily focused on Cable. I am again worried that the focus is heavily on everything but quality of story in this sequel, which I think plagued the first film. Also, I worry that Cable is going to be mishandled in the film, but he sure looks cool, even if this Cable ends up being quite different than the one in the comics. Deadpool is set to drop on May 18th, but we want to hear your thoughts on the trailer!

We Get Our First Deadpool 2 Teaser Trailer in Pure Deadpool Fashion.

The Merc With A Mouth has come through again. This time with a teaser trailer with footage from the upcoming sequel to his smash breakout film.

But Captain Deadpool didn’t just release footage any old type of way, no. This time he gave it to us in the midst of paying tribute to arguably one of the greatest painters EVER, Bob Ross.

Now for the youngins not familiar, Bob Ross was the host of Beauty Is Everywhere. Where he painted beauty scenery and locations and it always included “happy little trees”. It was mellow and smooth like ASMR….before that was a thing…with a label…anyway check out the footage below from actor Ryan Reynolds Twitter page.

Also pay close attention to the colors used. Deadpool 2 is set to hit theaters in February 2018.

It’s a GLORIOUS holiday thanks to Deadpool and Family

We also see newcomers Domino (Zazie Beets), Cable (Josh Brolin). There’s even the patriarch Stan Lee on the wall.

Between this poster and set photos the Deadpool media blitz is about to begin.

We Have Our First Look at Josh Brolin As Cable

download (1)

This is the photo I believe the world of comic book fans have been waiting on. We officially have our first look at Josh Brolin As Cable from the upcoming Ryan Reynolds led Deadpool 2.

We have seen photos of Josh Brolin working out intensively in preparation for the role, even seen him getting the mold casted on his face but have yet to see the full look, now we have it.

It’s interesting to note that for the film they are going with the slimmer “Marvel Vs Capcom” video game version of him. This along with the first look at Zazie Beets as Domino has garnered somewhat mixed reactions from fans. We want to know what you all think.

We Have our First Look of Domino in Deadpool 2

Well this is one of the two highly anticipated first looks from the currently in production Deadpool 2 film. This one for sure does not disappoint.

We now have our first look at Zazie Beetz as Domino which was revealed that us by Deadpool himself Ryan Reynolds.

Reynolds revealed the first photo of Beetz as Domino via Twitter. The photo recreates one of the famous early promotional images from the first Deadpool movie, which had Reynolds in his Deadpool costumes splayed on a fur rug in front of a fire.

Zazie Beetz is best known for her role on FX’s Atlanta. According to the many rumors that circulated concerning the highly sought after role, Beetz beat out stiff competition that included Janelle Monae, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Lizzy Caplan.

Domino is another creation of Rob Liefeld, who created Deadpool and Cable. Domino is a mercenary with the mutant gift to subconsciously manipulate probabilities in her favor within a localized field, which manifests roughly as her having very good luck.

Domino has a professional and romantic history in the Marvel Comics universe with Cable, who will be played by Josh Brolin in Deadpool 2. She was also a founding member of Cable’s paramilitary mutant squad X-Force.

Interestingly, Domino made her first appearances in New Mutants #98, the same issue that featured the first appearance of Deadpool. However, it was later revealed that the shapeshifting mutant Copycat, the character that Morena Baccarin’s Vanessa is inspired by, was actually posing as Domino. The real Domino didn’t debut until X-Force #8 months later. It’s unclear if Deadpool 2will address this storyline.

David Leitch (John Wick) will direct the sequel, taking over for original Deadpool director Tim Miller.

Ryan Reynolds will return as Wade Wilson, a.k.a. Deadpool, the Merc with a Mouth. For the sequel, he’ll be joined by Josh Brolin as Cable. Cable was co-created by Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld and Louise Simonson. He has often been paired with Deadpool as his grim, serious demeanor serves as the perfect foil to Deadpool’s crude and zany humor. The duo headlined an ongoing comic book series, Cable & Deadpool, for 50 issues.
