Gambit Flips The Fox Schedule

In what has surely become an even bigger catastrophe than previously expected, Gambit losing its director, Gore Verbinski has now created additional problems for the rest of the upcoming Fox mutant universe.

With no director, Gambit is leaving it’s Feb 14, 2019 date, paving the way for probably another 50 Shades sequel, and Deadpool is going to slide up from June 1st to May 18th, of this year. Gambit will fall four months back (for now,) to June 7th.

Here’s where it gets ridiculous: the much anticipated New Mutants film, originally expected to arrive on April 13 of this year all the way to February 22 of 2019! The obvious reason is that when it comes to showing year over year, having both New Mutants and Deadpool drop this year and only the Gambit disaster next year would cost everyone their jobs. This way, New Mutants will cushion the failure that follows and Deadpool can be the only kid on the sandbox this year (well, with Cable and Domino. And Negasonic – oh boy they are in trouble!)

Is Fox doomed? Should they cut their Gambit losses or is there hope? Tell us what you think!

Gambit May Have Another Villain to Deal With In His Movie

Yes, again this movie is still happening and it is still starring Channing Tatum. This has to sound like one of those angst teenagers going “aww man again” because almost two years worth of “its on” “its on hold” now we got some real traction and more character breakdowns for this Gambit film potentially titled “Forevermore”.

This new breakdown has surfaced for “Butler” who is described as a, “Supporting Character (30-40) Rosa’s fianceé, villain with metrosexual charm. Should be physically imposing.” Now there are theories beginning to arise as to who this mysterious character actually is and it appears to be Donyell Taylor, the man Bella Donna Boudreaux shacks up with after things go wrong with Remy LeBeau (Gambit). His code names in the comics include Night Thrasher and Bandit.
Now it shouldn’t be surprising that there will potentially be a love triangle in the film given that its expected release date in February 14, 2019. Also Night Thrasher is a former member of the New Warriors and the New Warriors TV show is happening and looking for a home network/streaming platform. But nonetheless its still totally plausible that “Butler” could be similar but then flipped to be someone else.

Fox Is Giving You All The Movies

1280x720-c7CWith Bill O’Reilly finally out, Fox was finally free to reveal a giant slate of movie release dates. On top of setting out the future of the Avatar franchise, and firming up the Predator date, New Mutants, directed by Josh Boone will open, April 13, 2018. Following that, the much anticipated, Deadpool 2 (directed by David Leitch) will drop on June 1st of the same year, and they’ll close out the year with the likely less anticipated, hopefully second time’s the charmk story, Dark Phoenix, coming November 2nd.

As expected, this means we’ll probably get X-Force in 2019, and following that, yet another stab at trying to tell a good, original X-Men story. Of course, there’s still that little Channing Tatum/Doug Liman project out there. Gambit, anyone?
